Lewis Stagnetto Limited was established in 1870 as a Cigar and Tobacco, manufacturer, importer and distributor.

Lewis Stagnetto (1855 - 1932) and his brother Salvador came from Genoa to join their uncle in the tobacco firm he had founded. In 1889 Salvador left for South America where his descendants are still in contact with the family in Gibraltar. Since then the firm has grown and prospered for more than a century.

In 1956 the company diversified into Wines, Spirits and Beer, and we now cover the whole spectrum of trade from Importation & Distribution, to Retail.

The present Chairman and Vice-Chairman are Albert F Stagnetto and Maurice P Stagnetto respectively. They are both the sole shareholders of the company.

Continuity is assured with the younger members of the family taking the reins of the company in recent years.
